Delphi Medical has an outstanding reputation for being one of the leading providers of recovery focused clinical drug and alcohol treatment. Our focus is on ensuring we provide excellent clinical provision as part of a recovery pathway which supports and facilitates our patients to engage in genuine recovery.
We partner with the public, private and third sector in our delivery, bringing the required clinical expertise, governance and medical staff to meet and exceed the standards set by NHS bodies in the field of substance misuse treatment.
Our experience in the management and delivery of a broad range of large scale high value bids, combined with a proven track record of delivery in terms of both recovery success and cost effectiveness, makes Delphi Medical the ‘go to' clinical partner for high quality substance misuse services.
Care Quality Commission
Following the changes to the way the Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspect and regulate substance misuse services, we have amended and adapted our procedures to assure ourselves and all stakeholders that we are fully complaint.
By adopting CQC Standards as our core model of quality assurance, we can assure patients that we deliver a high quality, safe service which respects their dignity and protects their rights.
Our robust Quality Assurance Framework centres on the following 5 key questions which CQC must satisfy themselves we are compliant with:
- Are we delivering safe services?
- Are our services effective?
- Do we deliver caring services?
- Are we responsive to people’s needs?
- Are we well led?
Excellence through integrated governance
As an organisation we are led and managed by qualified and practicing clinicians with considerable experience both in and outside of the NHS. We bring an integrated governance approach to all of our activities to ensure we can make rapid, responsive and effective patient–led decisions to deliver better healthcare.
We have considerable experience of reporting on NDTMS and NATMS datasets and comply with NHS Minimum Data Set requirements and NHS Information Governance Toolkit Standards.
We have completed Version 13 of the Information Governance Toolkit to ensure our systems, clinical options and processes are continually reviewed and comply with Care Quality Commission and DH guidelines regarding patient records.
Furthermore we use a combination of bespoke in-house spread sheet and database tools and document management via a secure web based link to our secure ISO 270001 certified data centre. These tools are used to prepare NDTMS and performance management data submissions ensuring timely and accurate data is available to commissioners at all times.
Delphi Medical holds all relevant insurances. Copies of their schedules and certificates can be provided as part of any bid application.
