Delphi Medical has been awarded new prison contracts to work with Staffordshire Prisons and Buckley Hall Prison in Rochdale to provide drug and alcohol treatment services.
The new contracts will see Delphi Medical more than double in size by the end of 2012. As well as recruiting new staff, Delphi Medical will also be taking on specialist teams already in place at the prisons.
By the end of 2012, Delphi Medical will have added 20 new full time staff over the year, bringing its total headcount up to 45. It will also employ a team of 40 part-time staff helping to deliver treatment services at a local level.
The new contracts are an endorsement for Delphi Medical’s recovery orientated approach to treatment. Although prescribed medication still has a strong role to play in treatment, Delphi Medical is using new approaches to help patients achieve abstinence.
This recent expansion is the result of years of hard work and dedication by Delphi Medical’s team, sticking to its principles and delivering effective results as part of an ongoing mission to raise the standard of drug and alcohol treatment in the UK.
